Peachtree Battle

LOCATION

Atlanta, Georgia

On a tight budget and timeline, this 1930s Georgian in Buckhead was reimagined for a young couple, blending modern function with timeless charm. Olive-green walls, mustard draperies, and vintage art lend warmth to the living room, while bold pattern enlivens the dining room and guest bath. The kitchen—expanded into the former study—features a green island with Calacatta Gold marble, a banquette for gathering, and custom brass-and-glass shelving nodding to restaurant roots.

Thoughtful touches, from custom screens to a bed canopy disguising an awkward window, make the home personal and practical—proof that even modest budgets can yield distinctive, memorable spaces.
