Inspired by the interior of a conch shell, this three-story beach retreat was designed as a serene yet striking escape. Venetian plaster cove ceilings, uninterrupted by recessed lighting, create an airy gathering space, while a winding staircase with cascading pendants connects the main level to restful bedrooms above and below. Organic textures—starburst pebble entry, raw wood floors, and teak furnishings—set a relaxed tone, while refined details like pecky cypress ceilings and marble finishes elevate the master suite.

Thoughtful design moments, from nautical-inspired pendants to a bold overscale triptych, balance restraint with impact, achieving coastal sophistication on a remarkably modest budget.
